Breast augmentation is generally performed using implants and is used to increase or restore breast size. Some women will require a breast lift in combination with implant placment, others may benefit from a breast lift alone. Breast reductions and breast lifts are similar procedures and may be performed through the same incisions. Insurances will cover breast reductions if certain criteria are met. |
